And Then She Was Two

There she is, ladies and gentlemen, an official two year old. Well, if you want to get technical, it's not for another seven hours, but blah blah. Sonya is two years old!



Standing on her mark, Sonya is rearing to go down that road many of us have traveled much farther than her own little legs could carry her at her tender age of two. But that is where she stands, crouched, anticipating the release of terrified parents. To break free, to jump fences, to run to her heart's content, to see everything that lay before her, begging her to discover. The excitement in her voice is exhilarating, and it turns you into a kid all over again.



Leaving the past and embarking on the future, many milestones will be met, and seem so much bigger than the ones she hit this year, including walking, running, climbing, talking, and sleeping in a big girl bed. This year, there will be...space travel! Well, you never know! And can a parent even imagine!?!?



She will quickly go from standing side by side, timid to leave our pant leg...



...to a careful maternal eye from the distant shadows...



...to thinking she can take on the world, just she and her shadow!



Then DRIVING?!?!? O no, Dad is teaching her that!!!!!



Best look out, World, cuz here comes Sonya, and she's not slowing down any time soon!
